Imagine that, an easy round in a single player game, damn. What a crazy idea. Might be the video games' new concept of the year.
In my game I don't get to choose the items I get. Did you buy the deluxe edition or what, is this another P2W game and I missed the memo? Oh no.
It think you answered this one yourself. Close to solved =/= solved. Dev is confirmed good! Woohooo!
...However, it could be a valid concern for multiplayer. It's fine if you're going first and can handcuff the Dealer and have the whole shotgun to yourself as you unload one or two bullets, that's the Dealer's job. Of course, it's less fun if you're on the receiving end.
Buy a children's game like animal crossing if you want it easy. Some of us want the satisfaction of achieving difficult things
You really want a game that randomly feeds you an auto-win? Let's look at this on a higher order; do you actually want a deterministic outcome in a gamble? Because if you do, where's the fun in that? It takes all the excitement away
Huffing glue is bad for you, dude. Maybe that's the reason why you need a handicap win to feel good?
Superior minds like yours should find a cure for cancer, why are you losing your time here?
anyways, i don't think free rounds should go away, but they shouldn't be so easy to come across either. i'd like to see more powerful items, such as adrenaline, be naturally rarer than a beer, or rather have each round have a pre-determined pool of items you can draw from, so that certain, extremely powerful combinations can be made rarer but not extinct.
After the patch, I can't beat the Dealer one single match of 3 rounds anymore. He keeps destroying me on the 3rd round before I can double my winnings.
This isn't Dark Souls, its just players getting crazy good luck and crazy bad luck, pure and simple.
Hmm, there's an element of luck but I think the probability is in your favour, especially since you always go first in a new round.
The milling strategy worked best for me when going for $1M. Basically, I try to get to the last shell as quickly as possible and fire the last bullet so I immediately go again, that way I end the round favourably
I agree. It should be much rarer. Like I'm super happy about the patch that removes saw from the start of 2 hp rounds because instant wins like that are way too cheap - but other combos that frequently appear are just the saw with extra steps
You have the advantage on shorter rounds with few shells.
You have the disadvantage on longer rounds with 8/8 shells going first. Chances are greater you will mess up and have used up the blanks, leaving the dealer free to curbstomp you with the remaining lives.
If you try to skip the round because the odds are unfavourable, the dealer (who hasn't been given the chance to use his items) will have more items when a new batch of shells are put in the gun. Your health and items don't reset, so you are at a disadvantage, and this disadvantage increases if you tie this round again.
The longest I had a round go on for was 5. Neither the dealer nor I can put the other down, but by this point he had 7 or 8 items. And I had only 2. It was brown trouser time.
