multiplayer menu flashing bug

i had reported this on the bug report thread but it's filled with other comments and i'm not sure if the devs were seeing the more latest ones so im throwing this out there

basically as the title says, the multiplayer menu is flashing, with an interval of approximately 1 second (1 second everything appears fine, 1 second everything is black). it doesn't really affect gameplay, when the game starts everything is fine, but it's hard to navigate the menu and see the option and press what i want to click on (the mouse cursor appears just fine even when everything is black).

one small detail that i'm not sure if it's of any help, but when the start up screen appears (before the HOST TABLE and the rest of the options appear), some green lighting can be seen at the top of the screen when it all turns black. so im guessing it's not that the entire screen turns black ig? there is probably 1 bar unaffected at the top, but the actual navigation menu is entirely black in that area after, so you can't really tell the difference.

i would try to lower the resolution, but there's no such option in the settings.

-yes it also happens in windowed mode
-yes i verified integrity of game files
-yes i reinstalled the game

I experience this exact issue as well. it sounds like a graphics card/driver problem but it's really strange that it's just the one menu that this happens with

my pc's OS is OpenSUSE Leap 15.4, graphics card is a Radeon RX 580

i have a Radeon too. also im kinda unsure if this is happening because i "updated" my graphics card in an effort to open the game for the first time (i hadn't seen the --rendering thing that i had to put on the launch options yet and i was trying to find other solutions).
