Can't start a multiplayer match

Nothing works. in a full lobby with only steam friends the start game button gets stuck on the "..." thing and will not allow me to start. When a different friend hosts the same issue occurs.

Is this recent? please fix, the game looks really fun and this is a huge letdown.
