I don't find that games like Buckshot Roulette need to be so scary, the setting itself is fine. The real horror of tabletop horror games is the game simulating the experience (imagine yourself actually holding the shotgun and facing the Dealer). I certainly wouldn't call it edgy though (unless you'd define almost every horror media as edgy, then that's a problem).

games can't stay scary if you play them long enough. i wasn't ever scared by the setting but that doesn't mean it's a bad game with bad lore. just because the dealer looks stupid to you doesn't mean it's edgy or stinky
