A few people can hit 18 heads or tails in a row but doesnt mean the odds are any better. My point stands this being pure ♥♥♥♥ achievement.
It's 6.25%-12.5% chance. Far from 'practically impossible'.
Admittedly, I am in the camp that anything RNG based does not make for a fun achievement. I cannot even justify it as a challenge since luck is not a skill, proverb aside.
Luck is not strategy. You have to hope for the perfect playthrough, where the dealer keeps f**king up and you keep getting great items, and you keep winning every coin flip 50/50.
I'm always looking at my options and the Dealer's potential moves, and I still
lose to bad luck despite keeping track of Shells trying to deal more damage
while denying the Dealer an opportunity to attack back, and prevent healing.
I hate starting rounds with 2 charges, if you don't have items to help you
survive the round you are most likely dead at this point depending what
the Dealer has for items to potentially one shot you to the Game Over Screen.
Starting a round between 3-6 or 4-6 Charges will make Double or Nothing
more fair and fun, but there has to be a quick save feature to come back later.
If your sick of playing Buckshot Roulette, there is a fan game on Roblox called
Buckshot Frenzy which has Multiplayer, Bots, Skins, and Leaderboards.
But yeah. It's absolutely doable to get the 1 million, but it's also absolutely not a guarantee. The Dealer does work off of a set of valid logic, and you can end up in situations where the round's unwinnable. Best tips are burning through the shells with beer when possible, giving Dealer as few turns as possible, and getting yourself item combos with Magnifier.
As others have said, if your first round total is below 31,250, just cash out and start over. 18 successful rounds in a row is already a lot to ask.
As you yourself said, that first round with the carried-over items is usually the run-breaker. You may need to adjust your round 3 strategy and try to get the dealer to use their best items and take an otherwise avoidable hit or two in the process in order to ease the challenge on the next match.
Sometimes it really just comes down to "can I kill the dealer on the first turn in this round?" and that means you need the occasional kiss from lady luck on your item draw. If the dealer gets cuffs, two saws, and an inverter on round 3, it's probably time to cash out because the carried-over items will certainly be a guaranteed lights-out even with 4 HP.
