I can never get to 1 million dollars in Double or Nothing.
I use strategy, I count bullets, I manage my items, I tried everything.
Starting a round with 2 charges is a nightmare!
If the Dealer has an inverter and I have one health, I have to guess every shell.

i went up to 6 million this morning and cashed out thought i'd be on the top of the leader board :lol13: turns out there are some crazy people in this game .... i think i ran out of luck in this game after that keep loosing after second round
i came so damn close today, round 3 on the final set, and the game just kept feeding me converters beer and medicine and I lost out in the shell order gamble. Not really complaining, but that one hurts.

Anyone who reached it knows this game is ALL about SKILL. True SKILL.
Others are just mad because they're not skilled enough.

I'm sorry to rain on yall's parade. Have any of you stopped to notice that the initial winnings are always different? I've won three games today, each for less than $10,000. One of them for a MEASLY $10 and another $1700.

So, lets do the math.

An initial win of $10 would take 54 consecutive rounds to break into the million dollar range. That's 18 games

An initial win of $1700 would take 33 consecutive rounds to break into the million dollar range. That's 10 games

An initial win of $10000 would take 24 consecutive rounds to break into the million dollar range. That's 8 games

An initial win of $20000 would take 21 consecutive rounds to break into the million dollar range. That's 7 games

And everyone who has posted proof of their 1 million dollar run, coincidentally; has done so in 18 rounds. (6 games)

So, in order to achieve at least 1 million dollars within 18 rounds; you need an initial win of a MINIMUM of $31,250. I've not seen an initial win of over $25,000 yet.

Since the amount of wins required to reach one million dollars in the game isn't consistent, it's not really a point to brag about when you can have a run that takes less rounds to reach that one million dollar goal.

How about bragging about something that IS consistent, and that removes one more source of luck; and that's number of rounds won in a single play.

It's not luck based (or is only partially luck based at the most). The initial win amount is dependent on time it took you to win the first three rounds. You start out with 70k and are losing 4k per minute. So, you have to win in under 9 minutes in order to be able to reach 1 million in 18 rounds. It's only a bit luck dependent in that you may get rounds with a high shell count and 4 lives which may take you longer to get through, but I personally haven't had any problems with the time requirement since a long time. If you are efficient and quick-thinking enough, you should be able to complete the first three rounds in under 9 minutes at least 90% of the time.
