Man that last game I played was something else. One round went back and forth 7 times and the dealer killed himself. Next round I somehow lost with 50% odds, having only 1HP left, (F**K YOU expired medicine) and the next round, had s**t items and there were 57.14% chance of having a blank, so I shoot myself to increase the odds of a getting a live, the 1st shell was a live, and I die instantly.
FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF
Try to conserve burst damage items on you and on dealer in holdover round(phase 3), try to keep spyglassess on dealer to minimum if you can, end holdover with 3 items at most if they do not help bursting down the dealer.
Dealer loves pills, bait them into adrenalining them or beer in 3-4 hp rounds.
In low-medium shell rounds do not take ANY chances if you can see dealer lethal in any way, shoot yourself with live rounds while dealer is cuffed if you have to in order to prevent it if you can't lethal them.
If you are safe on medium/large shell rounds, let dealer waste spyglassesss and beers, potentially both at same time in case of blanks when they lack inverter.
Win 18 rounds in a row like that and you have one of your 1M achievos.
It's pretty hard cuz... 60% luck, 40 % logic skills.
The difficulty zigzags, and items can stack up if you and dealer have miserable luck in racking the gun with beers or stuck in a loop with healing items. My biggest grievance is items carrying over from match 3 to match 1 again, because you're f**ked if RNG screws you and the dealer gets control, which can easily happen.
And knows everything? I dunno, his AI bugged out on my last game because the last shell was a blank, so he wasted 2 phones and 1 glass. I kid you not. I'm sitting there, looking at him stupid, like WTF are you doing?
That's okay, but still - only one round of bad luck is needed, and mission failed.
The number and the quality of the items are based on luck. Also health.
The number of shells are also based on luck - the more of them, the less chance for a round end advantage.
The AI (from my experience) seems to have been improved from the original version. It seems like there's more chance of the dealer firing if there are more live rounds left. And more chance to fire on himself if more blank rounds left.
However it behaves a bit different sometimes.
The items usage is also seem to be improved on the AI.
Basically the only advantage is that the starting round is always on the player.
95% of the moves seem to be logical on the dealer side. Many factors are luck based. How on earth is it possible win 18 consequtive rounds, and have no bad luck on 1-2 rounds???
It seems like if you don't have a bit of a luck, than you can fail this chain at any time.
This seems like a rather cringy achievement. And it seems like you have to do it twice...
Gave it 2 last chances not to f**k me again.
Twice the dealer had handcuffs and saws. Twice I get beers and F**KING EXPIRED MEDS. What is this? The UK's National Health Service??
Uninstalling. Let me know when its patched.
Or maybe I`m just a bit unlucky. Seems it`s rather hard even getting to the fourth set of double or nothing...
Luck plays a part in this, but what I've taken from it is:
Do first three rounds fast as you can, like, Sanic de hedgehog fast. The quicker it's done the more money you get to begin with, can save you a go or two. If you got under 40k at the double down it's pretty much easier to just cash in and start over.
The less the dealer is in control the better. He makes mistakes time to time, but don't rely on that much.
Try to not lose track of ammo, absolutely never lose track of what's on the table.
Say, if there's a live and a blank in the gun, you're both at two charges, the dealer has the inverter and the saw and all you have is beer - don't rely on luck, down that cold one and do whatever with the leftover shell, because that evil bunghole will oneshot your sorry ass even if that first round is live. Don't just go "live round, gun go bang", plan ahead.
Sometimes it's better to use your cigs at full health to not let the dealer steal 'em. Never use pills when at last charge, or better yet just never use 'em. Leave 'em on the table to bait the dealer into stealing them and hurting himself.
Whenever you can relieve the dealer of cuffs and saws - do so.
Phones are most useful on two and three shot rounds.
Try to be sure with your shots, it's better to spend a glass than to waste a saw, prolong the round and risk losing. Efficiency is key.
2. your goal is to kill him before he kills you, so play accordingly
RNG is a component but you have a statistically high chance of winning each round because the AI plays at like 3:10 odds. If you play optimally, you can get that down to like 1:20
