You are correct, the Inverter only changes the bullet that is currently in the chamber.
Can you please try and replicate this issue, so we can confirm that a bug exists?
Just in case... For another example
I have 3 bullets (2 blank, 1 live round) and i know for sure that the LAST ONE is a LIVE ROUND, So i use my invertor on a first one so it turns into live round and i still have a live round which is a third one? Because if i remember right, in almost same situation after turning blank one to live round, the one live round that supposed to be later on turning into blank one... Its like invertor changed the places of the bullets instead of changing only the current one.
Btw really great game!!! I really enjoyed it! I saw this game for the first time just 1 day before its release on Steam and i really love this game! My friend bought it too and enjoyed it too!
Hope we will be able to play multiplayer soon!
In your situation, if you are certain that the final round is live, it should remain live if you use the inverter on any of the previous shells.
