Are the shots and items really random?

Playing over 80 hours and managed to get over 1 million once.
It's starting to get ridiculous.. even when I do everything PERFECT I still can't get to a million again.
For example, when taking the first shot I often miss when the chances are 50/50.
Later shoot myself in the face when there are 3 empty and 1 full round.
It seems to be statistically impossible to have such a huge amount of bad luck.

Well, that's probably why I'm not hitting 1000K, I'm not willing to sink 80 hours of my life into a game that can be beaten in story mode in less than 30 mins.

Yes, they randomize, which means, yes you can get very unlucky. Though I never hear people who have all the skill or all the RNG manipulation hacks complaining DoN is too unfair. Strange...

Despite all the items the game is still gambling and you can get screwed by bad luck.

I'll probably toss in that in few situations do you want to risk a shot on yourself, even if there's more blanks (full-round logic, goal's to kill the Dealer, etc). But yeah, you can strategize for the best probable outcome, but it's still probability and the 1 million goal isn't inherently in your favor.

Going more than 80 hours is kinda obsessive, lol.
Not saying it's unfair (although it often feels like that).. luck just plays a big role.

It is random but it's rigged in favor of the player due to you always going first
