characters stopped working

This is my second playthrough and I'm starting to get angry. Characters stop working = any further progress in the game stops with the arrival of a new character. They just eat, stop doing work, go to the same places and ignore the priority checkbox “go to work”. For some reason, the zone mission breaks everything!

Im now having the same issue after buying a pet! My 2 people wanted to stop work 1 for a break and the second to focus on keyboard, neither will work now lol

Figured it out! You need to zone their place of work else they dont work

Unfortunately, the arranged zones didn’t help me either. I don't understand what's wrong!

For me, it was like Ria said. The characters stopped working when a new character came and I had to clear and readjust my zoning to make sure they had access to everything they needed. I also had to make sure "communal stuff" was available. E.g. some cooking and joy items are not communal :-(.

furniture without the tag ignore zone restrictions must be set into the character zone for them to use it.
For furniture with ignore zone restriction you can place it wherever and everyone will use it without zoning.

nothing helped. I completely rebuilt houses, separated them, marked different rooms with zones, removed the zone, rearranged the zone, re-entered the game. Whatever I did was pointless. I'll probably wait until the project settles down a little more.

Mine stopped working to as soon as I got a second character. It´s like the third game....

Also mines stopped sleeping. Even changed beds already, they don´t sleep.
