Using WIn10. SOULBRINGER refuses to launch, I click the "Play" button and it says "Running" but nothing happens.

I love this game and dearly wish to play it again. However, nothing I try will make this game run on either GOG or Steam. I have a Geforce 3070, 12th gen multicore processor, and a 4k monitor. Can anyone help me? I have tried every fix I have found here, on GOG forums, and Google. I'm at my wits end and fear I won't ever be able to play this again....

who else wants this game remade and expanded? perhaps a prequel? if it keeps true to the lore and dark fantasy theme i think they could do it.
