Also, Grandpa, why do you so oftenly spawn on 4th floor? I need you BEFORE the battle with Draija...
Tried two different directions from my same save file and she is not finable.
Shortly after I arrive at the coffin or at the grandfather there is a massage that she had died.
Tried way A and way B from the same save file but Melissa seems to be the troll of the game.
There should be no randomness left because the castle is generated at the start.
Long story short, I found her after saving the priest (quicker) and she popped up out of nowhere too. My advice just keep at it. She's bound to be somewhere you didn't check a second time.
Good luck.
As already mentioned, she is also hardwired to be killed precisely 18 minutes after you open the door to the West Wing.
These two factors mean that in order to save her, you have to rapidly rush through the entire West Wing, unlike in any other section of the game. Better pray that one of the first relatives you save is going to be Grandpa (gives you machinegun) or Mortimer (gives you armor).
