Force Feedback Joystick compatibility
Hi,

like my old Freespace 2 or X-wing alliance, Force feedback compatibility with Joystick like MS FFpro 2, Saitek cyborg evo force, Logitech G640... will be a good way to improve immersion and be a great way to detect when an ennemy attack us or to feel turbo or breaking effect.

I know my request seems old school but if you can do it it will be great for those who have a FF Joystick.

Thanks.

Try this xbox360 Gamepad Emulator: http://www.x360ce.com/
At least it could give you the game pad rumble effekts.
Better than nothing.

i'm sorry, but can you help me to configure it ? i have a MS FF Pro 2 + X52 throttle. I just installed x360ce in the DyingSun folder (where dyingsun.exe is) and don't know what to do after...

ok, if x360c.exe and xinput1_3.dll are in the folder with dyingsun.exe - start x360ce.exe
It should come a window "new device detected". I hit search on automatically for settings and then always next...
I didn´t configure the button/axis in x360. You can Set all Buttons and Axis Ingame.
But go to the Force Feedback Tab: aktivate "Enable Force Feedback" and Turn the Strength all to 100%
I choose "PeriodicSawtooth" but you can also try the others.
If everything is allright, your joytick should rumble if you move the "Test" Slider to the right.
Then Save your Config and close x360ce. It will save a ini file and you don´t have to start x360ce again (if it works).

Now test if your Joystick rumbles in Dyingsun and configure all your buttons and axis in the Game :)
