I really don't know what's going on, all I can see is that it's happened before with other Unity projects[www.google.com], and there's stuff that can be tried, but I'm not sure what would help here. If it's the same sort of issue or just a freak occurance.
After making that post in June I heard some of it in various streams and videos of HOTDS on the internet, but since I never heard the people playing the game in those ever acknowledge it, nor did I ever receive any response here, I assumed it I was just crazy or it wasn't a big deal and never bothered following up on it. I still load it up after various updates to check it out.
It becomes rather annoying in my headphones. I can almost get by playing it on my monitor's speakers with the volume turned way down, but even that doesn't mask all the defects entirely. I was hoping someone else who had similar audio issues and experience w/ creating games in unity might be able to shine a light on it. I've seen people say that using certain audio file types could be causing it, or something with the dsp buffer. And others offering suggestions beyond that. But I don't know, it's all Greek to me and makes about as much sense as a dxdiag.txt
Good luck!
