Is DLC worth getting?

It adds a lot of stuff, depends on if you need to count your pennies or not. If you like having more CPU's in your party then the DLC characters will make you super powerful.

I was glad I got the DLC since some of the tips I got in FAQS required the DLC to get items I wanted.

They aren't very expensive honestly.

I guess it's also easier to get a lot of money without grinding for hours, with the DLC dungeons.

This 100%. Still grind for hours though, but maybe not 1000 LOL.

I'd say yes but the grind from 200-999 is taking a while I did beat one boss for ROM's ulitmate weapon and armour but the others are still to strong at level 450.

Grinding colossume fights is so far the fastest way to get exp and credits,133k credits + 2.6 million EXP for 2 attacks seams fair.

My MAGES. can almost 1 hit a whole party now with aoe ;) and Plutia finished with the plushie of doom... there is a guide for leveling from 99-999 mostly it's in colossume fights just spamming them is faster then anything i;ve found in game so far.

You're pretty much paying $6.00USD for 3 other characters from the NepNep game series and leveling to 999, and the other DLC on the list is free as well. Just make sure when you get the additional content 2 on your list to check the box on your list of DLC since that one tends to be the weird one out of the the DLCs for this game.

dlc is not really necessary, the characters don´t get any background story.
they just join your team, nothing more nothing less - so look at the characters and decide wether you want them or not.
the colloseum battles are fun and allow you to grind some more.

Well the Characters, especially Plutia and Peashy, tend to make tings a bit easier to grind for items and stuff at start. As for Histy, granted she comes in late game, but she is a powerhouse in her own right.

Plutia is great with MAGES. and Uni all 3 have AOE SP skills which are good for collossume fights as SP is rest each fight.

DLC characters demolish the early game's difficulty it's practically cheating, and DLC content is basically padding on the end of the game if you want to keep playing after beating the story.

Not necessary, but it's there if you want it.

Seeing as how your profile only shows you with 0.4 hours into the Game, ignore the Peashy and Plutia DLCs until after you play the game the first time around, because as others have said (and as I have mentioned in other threads,) they take away from the game's difficulty during Chapters 2 - 5/6 when you get them. They're that strong.
