English voices VS Japanese voices

Just different opinions. Some prefer Japanese and some prefer English dub.

I prefer Japanese. I tried out English first and found that a lot of the voices annoyed me compared to the Japanese dub.

Plus the Japanese dub has some of my favorite voices of the game, like Purple Heart and the Plutia > Iris Heart change.

I actually like Plutia both in japanese and english, I mean she sounds more or less like the same character, unlike some of the others...
Like Rom... she sounds like she's 20 or something, lol.

japanese VA has an OP cast especially on HDN VII so yeah japanese dub FTW..

well kidding aside JP voice is my prefrerrence when im watching anime or playing Japanese related games so yeah..

I felt the exact opposite. I didn't like any of the Japanese voices. To each their own though.

When Rie Tanaka does purple Heart´s original voice... it gives me goosebumps, specially at the drama CD where she says into your ear "dear wa~ke~up".

Ikr? Some people complain that Neptune's human form's japanese voice is annoying and pitchy... that's because SHE'S ANNOYING!! Her voice suits perfectly with the cheerful and lazy character.

When I first started the game, I had a hard time choosing between the two. I found that the English voices seemed a little unnatural for my tastes, while Compa's JPN voice was kinda cringeworthy. I found out later that only a portion of the dialogue was voiced in English, which prompted me to go back to the Japanese voices.

I got used to Compa's voice and haven't gone back to English since.
