Chapter 7, What to do

Okay here's my current progress

• I'm at hapter 7
  
• I unlocked the olliseum and defeated the fake and , that means that MAGES., MarverousAQL, Falcom, CyberConnect2 and Noire are unavailable.
  
• I'm preparing to get two of the sisters first run (Nepgear and Uni specificaly) I got the item needed for Nepgear and the shares ready for Uni (and unlocked the monster with the drop needed for her birth)
  
• Did not do the event Polytan fight yet (as Neptune is locked out of HDD for obvious reasons and Plutia and Peasy for some not as obvious reason cannot use the Terra Processors)
  
• Have not taken care of the fake or yet

with all that in ming should I Get the item from the other dungeon then complete the chatper before doing the Polytan fight, or do I pick up Vert of Blanc, deck them out witht he terra gear and grind Polytans first? (Note that Histy is around 50-55ish afaik, and that the CPUs, Compa and IF are lv 60+ with CyberCon and Falcom around Histy's level (I see no reason to assume that Brocolli and Tekken will not be at a simialr level) and MAGES. and Marvy being slightly underleveled.)

broccoli will be lvl 55ish and tekken will be 60 if i remember correctly
im pretty sure you can just clear the episode and do everything you want in chapter 8 however im not sure if w/ the candidates you only get the plans at the beginning of ch 8 in the first playthrough but i doubt thats the case
and polytans at 60 will be very difficult if even possible

Yeah that reminds me, When does the event for the candidates plans come up and can I access the events in Chapter 8?

You can hold off on the Item for Nepgear / Shares until Chapter 8 if you want (You can still gather the Plans for the candidates, Shares and make the Candidates in Chapter 8 as long as you do it before going into the Final Dungeon / Boss fight.)

At your level, you will be able to do Vert and Blanc. If you do decide to do them without going for the Fury sword, you will want to fight enemies in their respective Dungeons for 4 EXE Drives, because in my experience, Vert and Blanc are the hardest of the Fake CPU Fights (Fake Green Heart can Spear one of your party members for an absurd amount of damage, and Fake White Heart is not only Tanky, but can easily take out your lowest Defense party members.

If you were to go for the Polytan Fight for the Sword before you continue the other two Fake CPUs, I would say go to Lowee first so you can get Blanc to join your party, bring her along with you into the Polytan fight (You need to save because if you lose the Polytan Fight in Planeptune's Info section, it's a Game Over,) and have her buff your other Meleer with Defense to stay alive longer against Polytans.

I haven't tried it myself, but others have said that Histoire takes less damage against the Polytans, and can deal more damage with her for that fight, so keep her in the back with Blanc and Neptune (or whoever your Leader is) up front next to Blanc for the Defense buff.

if you have 30% shares in lastation/planeptune/lowee then you get the plans right at the start of ch 8 from people on the world map from there they will be in system plans accesable at any time named "birth of ___"
you need the specific items which imo are extrememly easy to get/ and 50% shares in the nation of the candidate you want

It doesn't need to be at the start of chapter 8, you can unlock them any time DURING chapter 8. So don't worry about missing out on getting all the candidate plans.

Okay then, In that case I'll get Blanc, try to get the item from Deus ex machina, clear chatper 7, try to get Deus ex Vita, rearrenge the shares and then try to get Nepgear

Then I'll grand all the charatcers up to 90ish and then make my way through the normal end and a seconf playthrought to get Ram, Rom and whatever perks/items/dungeons I didn't get the last time

neh just get to 65 clear the game then get Ram/Rom once you have every character fight the small lightning guys with the goddess lightning resist gear hopefully atleast one character makes it past the turn then its kill 3 slowly revive the other ones and get full xp.

Honestly, the Polytan fight should have been done earlier on. All you need is a complete Stone set on HDD gear, and a thunderclap ring for the first turn as Nep, and you'll be able to slowly win the fight while taking 0 damage.
That would have netted you the sword of awesomeness, and the set of HDD gear that boosts your damage.
And a lot more levels.

If Chapter 7 has some HDD lock mechanic on it, I would say that it would be a bit difficult to fight the Polytan fight without a thunderclap ring on everyone, and using Compa for her healing. :)
Although, if you're in the mid 60s, you should at least be able to hit them a little more often than you would earlier on.

EXE skills will help, with any boosting to Tec at all, and Nep's EXE skills do decent damage.
