Moddability and modding support, will there be any?
After buying the game, first thing after downloading it, I started looking in the main games directory for potential moddability. To my disappointment I found a lot of .cpk, .pac and some other filetypes which I couldn't unpack using any known unpackers.
I do understand that one of the reasons for having these archives packed was to more successfully sell DLC, but I do have to add that a healthy modding community always expands the life of a videogame and actually attracts new potential customers who are either interested in creating their own mods, or playing community created mods. I also do understand that nobody's going to go through half the engine and change it, just to make the assets and scripts of the game accessible to the community, but I do want to ask whether or not there is a chance of seeing some mod tools for the game in the future? Just a few simple file unpackers and repackers would be more than enough for a lot of fans of the game to start making their own content for the game, thus expanding the community, by attracting new customers, and the games lifespan in general.

TL;DR Will there be any mod tools or mod support in general in the future?

Since this was orgiinally on the PS Vita, and a remake of a PS3 game, I seriousl doubt there will be modding tools or mod support.

I can't think of any major JRPG that has modding support. Unless you count the FF3/6 SNES rom hack tools. :)

I wouldn't put it past the community to put out some sort of 3rd party mods/modding tools though.
Doubt it. For most Japanese games (excluding Dark Souls), just get rid of that logic/thinking. The JP developers actually do intend to have their games not to have mod compatibility especially if they're ported.

Depends on how determined and knowledgable they are. I had a look at the .pac files, which are more or less readable. So maybe someone with a bit more knowledge and determination will write a unpacker and repacker, though I can't really say the same for some of the other filetypes.

Anyone with good enough debugging skills can get into the game's archives easily.
