Black Heart a little too powerful?

So I've grinded (maybe I need to do a bit more), I've made sure the HP and SP of the party is high, I've used up ALL my SP and items (healing, SP, reviving and buff), and it's STILL not enough to defeat Black Heart. How am I supposed to beat her?

What lvl do you have your party at?

It's an unfortunate difficulty bump. I had to be level 13/14 before I could beat her. Make sure to conserve through the first boss fight, and don't surround her.

oh god, i've got a lot of lvl up to do.. And to defeat the dragon in those fields, what lvl is recommended?

I forgot. You should be able to do it if you can do the boss, though.

My plan was have Purple Heart take her on while Compa gives healing support, but what can IF do? She can only fight, and she gets insta-killed if she tries.

Btw, what does the SP skill of IF called TECH SUPPORT do? it increases tec, and is a assist ability. But what does that do?

Life rings/stamina rings make this battle much easier. Grind some guild quests, get credits and buy them.

Beat her with 12 lvl party. Important thing:
- buy HP rings (dont remember i hd +1000hp rings or +2500hp rings)
- keep ur healer on the back and just heal Nep-Nep and Iffy

Heal is % based so with big HP Compa gonna heal u for 1000 or more

Give everyone the 5k life rings (gain more money by doing repeatable quests), and try to have everyone close to leveling up (at least Compa) so they heal in between bosses from the XP the first boss gives. Also, remember to constantly use Neptune's strength boost skill, don't waste time/SP with her attack that costs SP. Strength boost basically doubles the damage you do. Another tip for the battle system: if you see one character twice before the enemy, you'll notice that if you do a normal attack the other attack chance goes away. However, if you use an SP skill you can still attack the second time.

If you don't want to buy the life rings, you better grind a bit until you are lv 13 - 14 with some healing items and/or Compa in your team
Also, get the item that gives you a good amount of VIT, that will probably help them to not get one shot

or buy the dlc those extra goddess hits too hard ...game become a lot more easy with them :P
