Problems with the Neptastic mod

So I've just downloaded the peak mod, literally every other function and gameplay aspect works, the problem is when finishing a battle I get spawned off the path of whichever level I'm in. Jumping will just make you fall endlessly and an error message shows but just take you back to the map screen. It can be fixed by just walking to the path then it teleports you back. Not really bad but mildly annoying.

I'm open to it being an issue on my part but I'm not sure. Any help is appreciated, thanks

Physics engine poorly handles fps higher than 60. Just lock it at 60.
