NO SOUND IN GAME PROBLEM

first at all, it has a sound
but after that
no sound in game (option ? all sound 100%)
when i play for while
the cut scene have a sound but no sound again after that
no sound like battle with monster, enjoy they chatting (like VN :/), etc

can you help me ? ._.

We are sorry to hear that none of those fixes worked for you. With your issue of the game not having any sound the problem may be from the DirectX plug in that is included with the game. We suggest that you go through the game’s directory file and manually install the DirectX file that came with the game. Please follow the directory to find the DirectX setup file:



C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Neptunia1\_CommonRedist\DirectX



Once you get into the DirectX folder we suggest going through the appropriate folder (there should be a folder named a certain date) and launch the DXSETUP.exe file. Doing this will manually reinstall (or install the DirectX components needed to run the game smoothly. There have been some issues with the game not installing this the first time which then caused issues with the game. After installing the DXSETUP.exe please try to run the game again to see if the audio problems have been fixed.



We would also suggest that you run the DirectX Diagnostic Tool to see if your sound card is being used when you run the game. You can use this website as a guide on how to run the Diagnostic Tool.

Once you have the Diagnostic Tool running, click on the Sound tab and it should detect your sound card(s). Please check under the “Notes” if there are any problems. If you have more than one sound card there should be another Sound tab that you can click on named (Sound2). Please check the “Notes” to see if there are any problems on there too. It should show which sound card is being used by the “Default Device”. If it says Yes, then that is where the sound should be coming out from and that should be where the audio from the game is coming from. If you are using dual monitors that have speakers or have external speakers plugged into your computer then we definitely suggest you use the Diagnostic Tool to find out the source of the audio. This should tell you if your sound card has problems and where the sound should be coming from. We also suggest updating your sound card just to make sure.



Some users have found that disabling their audio device and uninstalling the driver and running windows update would install the base driver after rebooting their computer. Doing this seemed to have fixed the issue with having no sound when playing the game. In order to do this you will need to go to the Device Manager and find the sound card that is currently being used (through the DirectX Diagnostic Tool). Click on the arrow for “Audio inputs and outputs” and right click the source for the audio (usually this is your Speakers) and choose uninstall. Restart your computer and it should automatically install your sound source. This should also fix any sound issues you are currently having with the game. If you are unable to find the source of your sound then we suggest you find it through the Device Manager.

i run the game with admin
and tadaaa ~ it's working
THE SOUND IS WORKING !!!! XD

just a info :
i uninstall any codec in my laptop and ONLY install K-Lite codec pack not K-lite mega pack(i not install CCCP or KCP, i just download it for if K-Lite is not working but is true K-Lite is not working but i not uninstall it) and use guide as your recomend it

before i run the game, i not check compatibility mode and the privilege level, i checked for run as admin
and also i Install Visual C++ Redistributable and disabling the Steam Overlay(but some game maybe need enable steam overlay, so i only disable steam overlay in this game [HDN1] and not in other game)

and last i install DirectX a.k.a DCSETUP.exe like what i write in this email

maybe this info is usefull for future of this game :)
