Costume Canvas

Anyone else think costume canvas should be implemented in the Steam ports? I understand their absence since Vita/PS4 can't load photos in-game, unlike the PS3. However, the Steam ports can have it implemented easily. It'd be cool yo see this mechanic come back.

EXTRA: For those that don't know, Costume Canvas was a feature in mk2 and Victory that let the player use any picture on their PS3 as an outfit for the CPUs. Mk2 only let you do it to Nepgear, Victory made it available for every CPU. To make a proper outfit, you would go to the game's website and download the character templates/texture files. From there you have to open it in either Photoshop or Pixlr (free Photoshop) in order to edit the image. Just go on deviantART and you can find tons of designs (mostly for Nepgear due to mk2)... And yes, people have made nude skins, and they look pretty ugly due to the texture being stretched onto the body; so the nips look bad.

Some cool designs people have made are Samus' Zero Suit, Asuka' plug suit, Ikaruga's shinobi outfit, Mu-12, sexy apron, racing outfit, Hatsune Miku, and many more.

Except then the screen shot page for the games would be full of almost nothing but NSFW texture mods.

Well the game does have an age restriction, despite it being rated T. Even then, there's already a topless mod for Re;Birth1 and not many people use it.

Considering how lazy IFI is with the PC ports do you REALLY expect them to add additional features? Hacking/Modding the game is the only way to get mostly what you want.

I haven't noticed any laziness other than a few text errors. Other than that, the game's a perfect port of the Vita version, at least it is for me. With PC games, you can't guarantee that it will work 100% since everyone's computer is different. I'm actually surprised the game even runs on my laptop, since it's made for streaming.

That's why I said ports. Re;Birth1 may be an okay port but most of the other Neptunia PC ports have numerous problems that will never be patched.

Besides that they'll never add any new features.

Haven't played the other ports yet. The only one I'll probably never get on PC is Megadimension. My laptop already strains itself with Re;Birth1 (25-30 FPS and input lag, but perfectly playable), VII will just kill it.

An R-18 patch doesn't fix my problem. I don't do nudes on Neptunia. I like using actual custom costumes.
