Any XP boost?
Read this game is really grindy. Is there an XP boost like in rebirth 2 to level up faster?

There is, there's an EXP up plan in Lowee Snowfield as a hidden treasure, and there's certain Idea Chips that grant EXP bonuses

That's good to know, but as a dlc or something like it there's not I guess...

none of the DLC give bonus EXP if that's what you're asking

you can use cheat engine to gives yourseself a x50 exp multiplyer boost or whatever x?? you desire if you really want to go that route. This works for almost any of the nep games if you find the tables for them online.

even easier is to just to search for a trainer that will do the exact same thing as the dlc xp boost you get in the other games. Then you dont have to start with cheat enginge if you do not already know how to use that. some trainer allow you to set x2, x4, x8, x16 xp so you can also "cheat" a little instead of going bonkers. :P

If Neptunia IS grindy, then I'm Michael Jackson in disguise... Seriously, if you compare grinding in Neptunia franchise and grinding in any Korean old-school MMORPG like early Lineage 2, then Neptunia should be a walk in a park.

My nagging aside, RB1 really requires several hours of monster chopping between boss fights just to level up to be able to beat them. Aside from EXP Up plan in Lowee there are:

- Fortify/Weaken Enemies plans, which should be obtained from Chirper system in chapter 2 or 3 (if you missed it, shame on you).
- When your party hits average level 25, EXE drive system becomes available, and IF here has a great AoE skill Apocalypse Nova, which is perfect for fast leveling in such locations as Naasne Volcano on lvl.70+ (you can easily one-shot entire pack of enemies and it will regen some of the EXE meter by itself, so it's basically for half a price!).
- There's also disc system with EXP chips available. Not worth it, I think.
- There's Lily Rank system with Gained EXP+ passive Lily skill for most of the characters, Compa/Blanc pair in particular. In my first playthrough by chapter 7 Compa/Blanc pair was 10 levels higher than everyone else because of this.

Neptunia RB1 isn't grindy at all. Well, if you want all the achievements, it's something completely different... my poor gamepad and the Millionaire achievement... =_=

Neptunia RB1 isn't grindy at all.

You do see the contradiction, right? I've played a lot of RPGs where if you just don't run from enemies you're usually within the level distance of being able to defeat a boss. Neptunia doesn't really do that, however, and bosses can often feel like meat gates. I'm also playing Final Fantasy Dimensions on my phone (it's garbage but it's mobile), and that game is grindtastic. Your levels barely feel significant, jobs have to be raised up separately and need levels to raise their stats.

Like, yeah, there's ways to deal with the grinding in Neptunia that aren't available in a lot of games. And I'm totally down with that, it's a good range of options. But it's still pretty darn grindy, especially when you don't know what you're doing and plenty of newcomers are going to be a little confused. Also Lily Rank, as I recall, takes ages to level up doesn't it? I can't recall if the game just throws EXP+ at you right away.

With the DLCs of Neptunia 1 2 and maybe 3... 999 is easy to achieve. The grinding comes more from dungeons and items than anything else lol. Shares can be a bit annoying too in a certain title >.>

Has acquired skill Passive Aggressive

WHAT!? I don't want that skill!

OK, let me clarify myself. Neptunia RB1 isn't grindy at all compared to REALLY grindy games. Of course there won't be zero grind level, but what Neptunia offers, in my opinion, it's almost perfectly normal RPG gameplay. You read some plot parts, you go to dungeons to level up to beat bosses, you do quests to find some money and items, etc. It's fairly balanced here, you don't have to kill thousands of mobs to go just ONE level up and nothing more, you have to do work to "earn a living" for yourself here during the plot part in the first walkthrough. Some parts of it are good, some aren't - for example, I think that quest system isn't rewarding here in RB1, quests are there just to obtain a fixed amount of money/EXP/items, they contribute nothing to the plot (aside from some funny descriptions). On the other side, the stats and skill system is really good and it encourage you to change characters' builds and explore them by trying different armor/accessories. Unfortunately, when you hit lv.90, there is nothing to do with it and THEN this is where the REAL grind starts, because the only fun in battles there on the 90-999 interval is what is being provided by several tough enemies and several Colosseum challenges, and they require to jump a LOT of levels between them... Fortunately, you have some good reasons to dive into it - and they are being called Rom, Ram, Uni and Nepgear, accordingly. ^^

Well, I don't know what exactly is required to raise it, be it number of levels raised up together or the amount of enemies killed, but I went with MAGES/Neptune and Compa/Blanc pairs from base rank to 8 rank pretty fast - I was here at the beginning of chapter 7, AFAIK. And you only need to raise it to 2 rank to obtain an EXP+ passive. When Noire returned to the party, I was lv.65 and she was lv.42, so I paired her with someone with this bonus and she leveled pretty fast while going 2 or 3 Lily ranks up on 42-70 interval.

Game discs with Gained EXP Lv.1-5 stack with the EXP Up Plan and Gained EXP+ so it is worth it although the amount of EXP won't show up during the battle results.

Use the add enemies plan and farm boss monsters for quick levels.
