The character also gets a speed boost every few levels, but it’s incremental enough I don’t notice it, and I don’t know a way to test it.
Finally, you can’t max out the character except at the highest prestige levels. I don’t think it’s that important, but if leveling the skills is why we’re considering not going up in prestige in the first place, then maxing out the skills might have some value.
I don’t think it matters if someone doesn’t max out the prestige levels, but that’s what I’m going to try to do, for completion isn’t sake if nothing else.
No. XP is separate from prestige. When you hit the prestige req. you cannot earn more xp. If you spend xp, it has no effect on prestige. spend it.
you can boost skills slightly at prestige 1, you can boost skills very much more at higher prestige levels. "prestige" means levels in this game. the skills are just minor perks: while you level up. Thing you can buy or collect are more impactfull.
most of the RPG-like systems in this game use labels you are used to but change the purpose, and if you just spend some time running with the base junk and purposefully stir ♥♥♥♥ up, you will get a better understanding of it. Prestige lets you stir more ♥♥♥♥ up. skills do not.
Buying skills doesn't count against prestige.
So, buy skills while waiting for the bar to fill to prestige.
A nice thing about the system is that you get a lot of goes to try different variations before sticking to one.
Spend your XP on skills, it doesn't slow down your prestige
Yes actually there is, the base stats of the said character will be raised, for an example their health points, it will starts to rise each time you prestige.
It really helps, as anything above 1000 health is good, because the enemy at time either shoot you at 1000 damage or is it 800 can't remember, usually the europan sinpers take pot shot at you as you loot. it is to prevent sudden death it's very useful.
But yeah it does kind of annoying but you have to start to level up your skills again from zero.
you need to do a level up prestige before you can get to a point where the exp that you will have earned will enable you to max out your skills.
