The Forever Winter

Question about Gunhead
so it says it's a Bi-polar AI and it's a Euorpan built law-enforcement automaton it has access to all weaponry and can carry any rig regardless of weight, so why does he stagger so easily? every other robot/automaton/cyborg handles being shot like machines cyborgs do lean back a bit when shot but even they handle it better, i think that if he's gonna make so much noise and attract so much attention he should't be stunned or staggered by anything less then multiple close range shotgun grimms, that's just my opinion.

I think Gunhead has been added basically working but it's physical / game play characteristics haven't been finalised :waifu:

It must still be a work in progress. Also, narratively speaking, the Gunheads must be all worn out by now, refurbished, damaged and repaired many times over, they must be past their Life-Expectancy by now as well. I can understand why a Gunhead would stagger on hit, just look at its joints, really flimsy joints.

the joints do look a bit bare but it's still a 8 foot tall robot lol

It tanks a lot of damage from assault rifles and even HE. - What do you expect from a robot of this size and configuration?! - It´s great that it can handle all rigs and weapons, even has advanced threat-detection and a gun-head!

Repairs at base or if it fails - collect it´s reamains in a recovery-run. No human life lost-

it's funny you say that i just had a game where i noticed he actually does tank certain types of damage better the i thought and i mean no offence i love playing gunhead.
Is there a way to mark enemies without him auto-firing and revealing your location? Or is this hand in hand with no ADS, that he's not an intel-gatherer as much as he is a shock-trooper kind of character?

Nope that is a bug. You have to swap your gunhead when there aren't any enemies on screen or yeah, you'll start shooting and give away your position. Gunhead is pretty much only useful on Nexus elevator runs. In and out in 4 minutes. Maybe 3 - 4 encounters. You wont need to worry about healing.
