No no of course aggressive AI is cool just as long as what gets them to that point is fair, and but as you point out there is currently no hiding from them, stealth and hiding is irrelevant everything can see you everywhere, and even that wouldn't be so bad if this damn muzzle flash (and gun lights) didn't totally blind you (and no, f*ck having to micromanage my view from ADS to escape it and see anything)
They should literally hire someone to read feedback 24/7 and adjust accordingly. I get it they want to make the game they envisioned, but that dream will be very short lived if $$$ dries up.

It is a bug, there is a noise detection, but it seems to always be active even while crouched and not moving. Enemies can detect it even if they are really far above or below you. Aside from the infinite height, enemies have to be within 12 metres for Gunhead and 6 for everyone else to detect this glitched always on noise. This also ignores walls and stuff.
Additionally there is a new delayed/queue system for aggro that the video goes into detail about.
