Gunhead - Head
The new character is cool. The mechanic are questionable, but they fit into the Dev's vision (yes, you're a killing machine, but you can't restore an infinite amount of health while you have first-aid kits = once again makes you think about fighting with someone/something). Don't know about you, but I like it.
And the question itself:
How does shooting with a head gun work? I press the button and there is shooting at all targets within sight. So far, the only way to stop the shooting is to turn away. Maybe I didn't figure out the controls?
And another thing: when I first went to the scorched enclave, the Eurasian drone started shooting at me (I was crouching behind the bunker fence) + the Eurusika machine gunner felt my approach from behind (again, I was sworn in, the machine gunner himself was about 7 meters away from me)

gunhead's base threat ratting is insane going up the shanty town catwalk instantly triggers everything below him. sometime i find his whole gimmick wont lock on to anything but things it cant harm (such as tanks, gunships and drones out of range), even when you're almost point blank to armed npcs facing them...

His head appears to be auto aim.
I noticed that the prestige threshold is now not 25, but 50, which means not +1000 to the initial health reserve, but +2000, which, combined with the ability to restore health, makes everyone except gunhead more advantageous. It sucks, but I will main him, because he creates a kind of challenge (at 25 prestige before, you were quite secretive and, if anything, strong enough for a figh - for the mask man at least)

bagman makes a way better heavy/tank atm

I'm afraid that the dev's will remove hp from other scavs. Although it would be stupid if they didn't do anything at all. Again, it's strange - a robot with less combat potential than an other scav (even considering the possibility of augmentation and/or body armor). A meat sponge for damage is stronger than a metal one? Some kind of bullshit:steamsad:

There are "cybernetic repair kits" in game, should have used them for robot.

He also has some jank with picking up items as we can't ADS with him, I noticed I have to be parallel with the item and look straight down in order to loot the item (water items etc)

Things with Gunhead that I think need to be Changed, ADS, the ability to not be precise with him is detrimental, I understand not being able to heal, but I think mech repair tools, or maybe other robotic components could be used to repair since the ability to not heal is very, very challenging, especially when it's quite easy to accidentally die, from not being able to click heads properly. He also has a glitch where his head shoots when using melee, this is horrible. Not being able to silently click heads from lack of ADS, No healing, and can't melee from alerting the entire field from the melee bug.

Much as I love Gunhead and his looks, other characters are currently better than him in every way, can aim down, heal, silent melee, (from rough starting stats) only has 1k hp more roughly (i play shaman)

He seems like a cool late game tank, but the lack of ADS and precise aiming, no silent melee for him currently is a HUGE deal breaker for such a cool character.

huh i thought that was just a bug introduced this patch along with tac unavailable sprinting, but then again every 1 run with another character i did 20 with GH so i didnt notcie
It's like a Smart-Gun, with 4 weapon options you unlock with Exp, press/hold Q key to fire.
