Crashing at launch

Launch from Steam, black screen like it's starting, crashes and closes no error. I've already tried verifying files, no luck. Uninstalled and reinstalled, no luck. Checked Windows security to make sure the game isn't getting a file blocked. Not sure what to do since there's no error. Last worked just fine like 3 days ago. I'm on the second most recent GPU driver update for Nvidia. Ryzen 9 7950x with 4090 and 64 gb ram.

edit: No other games have this issue in my library.

Dude, we are scavengers, digging through the remains of the battlefield, you won't be able to play with us on a computer like this. Different leagues))

That's fair. Still wish I could play the game I paid for though.

at the beginning the game didn't start for me either, it said that there weren't enough DirectX libraries, no matter what I did, nothing helped, then I reinstalled Windows, it turned out that my Windows wasn't updated and it didn't have enough libraries, after reinstalling the game started. In your case, I don't even know what to advise, you have top-end hardware, everything should fly

exact same thing.

did all the basics, verify, reinstall, restart, etc...

waited a bit... worked again as of typing this in overlay...

my problem was something to do with steam to epic games link / connection.

in other words... not my end.

Me and a friend are having the exact same issue but it still won't let us play.

I am having the same issue. Any help would be appreciated. Game look sick and would be a shame if I couldnt play it.

I've had the game for months now, and two days ago I was able to play it, but last night and into today, it will open up, then black screen like before the logo screens start, and then just closes back to desktop. No idea whats wrong. validated files, rebooted PC and nothing. There's threads up on the discord, but no answers yet.

Wow, looks like the problem I've had is happening to a lot more people now. Hopefully they will do something about this soon. I haven't been able to launch the game since October. And yeah, my computer is fine, jumped through all the usual hoops, and this is the only game ever that's had these type of problems for me.

Update: I DDU my old Graphics Driver and reinstalled. Windows corrupted my graphics driver in such a way that only UE5 games ALL of them I owned stopped working. I didn't test on other UE5 games at the time because they were uninstalled. That's bad info on my part. The common thread though was UE5 affected. DDU the old, clean install same drivers. Verified now working for all of them. For Reference I have Windows 11; which I detest with my entire being.
