Ice cream mech

I was on a run yesterday. The map was scorched enclave, my entry point cemetery, playing gunhead. I'm still pretty new to the game, doing the europan drone mission. I was expecting what i had already seen: war, death, loot, etc. All the good stuff. What I was not expecting was a europan mech with a giant ice cream cone on his face. Pink ice cream cone, up his face. Wish I had taken a screenshot. I haven't seen any info online about it so I'm posting. ¿Has anyone else seen this odly sweet piece of war equipement?

Rat king, savior of the scavengers.

Spawn rate is pretty low on the various maps. When he kills an enemy, they drop a special item on the ground needed for a quest ( need 25 of them ). He's not invincible so, when making the quest in may require somes games.

(Uncomfirmed) praying in the shrine may increase the likelihood of the Rat King appearing

Do not attack it, the Rat King engages in a more symbiotic relationship with us, lorewise.

The Ice Cream Man is your friend, he helps you fight bad guys. His eyesight and hand eye coordination is not very good though, so sometimes he will step on you. Don't take it personally, he's very sorry, he's just a chill guy doing his best.

Like he says, dont attack it and also dont shoot any enemies near it as even accidentally hitting rat king will result in reputational losses for the scavengers. Learned that the hard way trying to help out my king with a nade launcher against some medium mechs.
