Video VS Gameplay

The look and feel of this game is awesome. The battles they show in the videos are so cool looking and the music and the sound of the weapons are nice and heavy like I like.

But for some reason when I play, I'm sneaking around with no ammo and a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ weapon that barely kills one enemy. I've made it to the extraction point a few times by luck alone.

Sure, watching the battle around me is cool and everything but I don't feel like I'm anywhere close to getting to what's in the videos.

I have noticed quite a few bugs also that don't help things either, like picking up an item that's not appear in my inventory or picking up a heathpack that I can't seem to use.

I guess it's a game mechanic that I can't use the stuff I dropped upon death until I get to the extraction. I mean I guess I understand why they do that but what's the point of picking it up again if you can't use it.

Hey mate, this game takes a little getting used to, but there's something special here.

A few tips from what you've said:
- take in a few (3-5) clips worth of ammo with you and it should relieve your ammo issue a bit; also, you can loot ammo chests in game
- don't use the salvaged default weapons unless you have no other option; buy at least an AK and throw on a sight and silencer, and it'll make encounters more manageable.
- make sure you're scanning the loot before picking it up, then use the '3' key to cycle through medical supplies to get to the one that you want to use with '4'
- the picking up your lost loot from the gravestone is a loss-mitigation mechanic and will become even more valuable to you later when you're rocking gucci weapons and a bunch of rig upgrades that you don't want to have to replace.

Do the training mission at the main menu, free xp and water, and it teaches you the basics with some pop ups.

Use better weapon, learn maps, you can not use "????" items, they must be identified.
