it runs fine on arch but the game and gameplay is trash do to the water mechanic. By fine i mean you have the exact same bugs like everybody else. LET me be clear it works fine on linux (ARCH) because STEAM these devs can't code themselfs out of wet paper bag.

i played in Demo was downloaded from EGstore - launched using Heroic Games - everything was fine, then i was bought it here.. and now i have Epic Game account error when i start the game, trying to resolve it now, but when i was play in demo, game worked normal, it is good news

wine was updated to 9.22
vkd3d was updated to 1.14

installed steam (win version)
installed Forever Winter over Steam
installed EpicLoader

and then problems with the EpicGame errors is gone, game launching and problem with video on menu screen is gone - game is working but some time it froze and i should be restart, but now i am happy

I ran it on Ubuntu on my main desktop and it runs just fine. I think i just use proton experimental.

it ran better on linux than windows for me like going from 45 avg to 100+ with better settings. Manjaro, latest proton vers not GE or exp

Runs fine on Nobara Linux. I can play any game that does not have 3rd party launch verification (EA + Star Wars Battlefront).

I am using Pop Os and it was running fine but recently out of nowhere it started playing like ♥♥♥♥♥.
