Water tank upgrade not working?

Hey guys, I have 54 days left out of 55, I decided to purchace the first water tank upgrade that gives me a +16 more in capacity, but the max cap is still 55 days.

Is that mechanic not in the game yet?

if you go and talk to the upgrade guy after looking at the water then go back to the water it fixed it for me

yeah that fixed it for me the first time. the second time i go back to the guy and check it again and its right back to 55 max with 54 in it. the upgrade was completed some time ago.

I purchased both upgrades and was puzzled when it still showed max at 55 days, but when I tried Jkjkrandom's fix it worked and showed 99 days max and when I went back later to check it was still showing 98 of 99 days. Hopefully it doesn't go back to 55 and make 44 days' worth of water disappear.

Same issue happened with me. I upgraded my tank once so far. 71 days right?

Well, it said 71 at first. Then it went to max capacity to 55. Somehow, eventually, I went back to 71 and started transferring water up to 70 + time left on 71st day and that worked.

However, I went back to check it again, and it still said I had 70 days but the max capacity went back to 55

At the moment. I have 65 days with max capacity of 55 jugs of water. I also have in waiting about 190 extra water barrels I collected thus far.

I am hoping when I have enough money to upgrade my water tank a second time I will be able to at least for a moment to add more water barrels to whatever the new max limit will be.

This is a bug though I think for sure.

Workaround I've been using.
1) Open water storage.
2) Open upgrade station.
3) Re-open water storage.
4) Refill to capacity.
You should have your correct storage maximum until you deploy or exit.

It returns to showing 55 being the limit while keeping the 98 days worth of water in there. You just can’t add any more until you return to the upgrade guy and open up his screen. It resets to 55 max every time you go on a mission and get back.

No water has ever been lost by me, though. I constantly keep 98 days of water on the reservoir.
