Restart the game after the tutorial. If that doesnt work. limit fps to 120, change settings to low, then change them back.

It’s not well optimized for the time being. Barely anyone can run it at max settings even on the highest tier systems. Stick to medium or lower for smoother framerate til the game progresses through development.

Yeah I went to med for 98 fps goes down to 60 sometimes. Hopefully they improve this. On medium with dynamic res some visuals look pretty bad.

This guy really complaining about dipping down to 60 FPS?

I have a 4090 and 5800x3D and I’m getting PS5 performance on MEDIUM graphics.

Odd since performance was pretty good for me with my 4090. The other hardware is a 14700 processor, 64GB of ram, and an M2 SSD.

Mind you I say it was good. The thing is it seems smooth but the enemies are skipping animations when further away and I don't know if that's due to performance issues or just the game being coded wrong.

I'm using max settings at 4K aiming for 240 Hz. No idea what the actual frame rate I'm getting is.

Hit alt+R. 0% chance you are above 90 fps. I’m getting 90 fps max with 60 fps dips on 1440.

I got the GeForce experience FPS counter working.

35 FPS in the innards?

lmao what.

That's ridiculous.

It went to 60 FPS when I changed from Custom to Ultra preset despite seemingly not changing much in terms of actual settings. Went to over 80 FPS when I went and stared at a wall point blank.

On High preset, looking at the innards is about 80 fps and wall staring is 110.

On Low preset at 4K resolution I'm getting about 100-120 fps depending on what I'm doing.

I must say it looks surprisingly good on low settings.

But this is still stupid. And the CPU utilisation is ridiculously low.

I'm getting 60-90 FPS on medium with a 4090 and 5800x3D. I have 64 GB RAM 3600 MHZ. On Ultra I had 15 FPS in the innards and a not so stable 30 in missions.

Low settings at 2K is giving me 140-150 FPS in the innards.

Still looks surprisingly nice. But come on developers, I want 4K at a decent frame rate. You can do it.

Edit: My god, I actually survived an extraction. I just have no idea what to do with this "large lockbox" I found.

I settled on 2K resolution and High settings. I'm getting 90 plus FPS which is fine really.

Just got to suck up lower settings until the Devs get it properly optimised. As a lot of others have said medium settings are actually way more decent on this than a lot of other games.

I have however noticed something weird going on with the graphics on High. Certain surfaces like doors seem like they're increasing and decreasing in resolution or at least the details are shifting around on the textures. This is just when I'm basically standing there looking at it.
