Fire Rate Inconsistency (is anyone else having this issue?)

its an insanely inconsistent issue, ive only seen one other person say anything about it and their post had 0 comments. none of the people i play with experience this and i have no idea what would be causing it. when shooting a full auto weapon it the fire rate is inconsistent, sometimes it shoots semi normally, sometimes it shoots three bullets and stops until i let go of LMB and press it again. ive also had it look like its almost lagging like i shoot semi auto, and it will be delayed as hell and even shoot after ive stopped pressing the button. my internet is stable, this issue even happens in single player sessions or even when im offline. im running a 1660 TI with 32 gigs of ram and plenty of space so i dont think its any hardware issues. if anyone knows anything or a way to fix it please let me know because out of the 5 people i know that play this game i am the only one to have this issues and its gotten so bad that i cant even defend myself in game cuz the fire rate is so slow. ive used basically every gun in game and it is present with all of them, not just to one or two guns.


EDIT: its likely a connection issue as multiple of u have suggested, thank u all for the help hopefully this gets fixed soon cuz i basically cant play effectively with friends and nothing like this happens on any other game.

First of all, do all of us a favor and hit the enter key from time to time while writing. those walls of text are always annoying to read.

Then about your issue: one possible explanation for this would indeed be a hardware issue, but not like you expect: your mouse. maybe its sending some random input signals after clicking from time to time.

As you said, out of your group nobody else is aware of this issue and if nobody else posted something similar here, it's either a kinda rare bug or an issue on your side.

Feels like it´s a server connection issue. Basically the bullets version of character rubber banding.

i mean look how the animation is to hold the gun there is no animation there. this game really needs all hands on deck to improve. not sure they have enough devs to do it.

i was thinking it may have been my mouse but i dont have this issue on any other games like space marine 2 or helldivers or anything else so idrk

its not a consistent fire rate tho, like itll shoot 3 bullets then flat out stop, its not on burst either it says full auto. even if im on semi and click back to back theres still like a pause between when it will shoot again, sometimes even takes up to a couple seconds

This is peer to peer hosted game, and your fire rate depends on your connection to the game lobby host, and it always is slower than the host's. Hopefully that gets resolved eventually.

all weapons, i main the RPK and AK, it happened with the SAW, the scar, and the m4, i dont use surplus ammo, just normal rounds for each gun

Allright, if this only happens in FW, we can exclude the mouse. It was just a thought that came up since it's usually not the first thing in mind, facing issues like yours.

In order to back check the connection issue theory: do you have the same trouble if you play solo?
