Armored rigs?!

anyone notice when you get shot from behind the rig takes it and doesnt cause any damage to you?

Yeah, some rig parts do that, generally in the bottom slot.

I literally just saw someone else claiming this was no longer the case and that you had to manually add armour to them. But that's exactly what's intended after you do so.

You don't add armor to the components, you buy the armored components from the Rig Vendor. He's available above 15 days worth of water in storage.

Afaik its also the only parts of the rigs which get dropped and need recovering

Look for the "Reinforced" Rig parts, I think those are the parts that resist bullets better.

it work for me atleast with the basic backpack when you are starting to play i notice it took alot of the shots or it could be what i was hauling around
