Where to farm 50cal snipers? Best stop?

Hey,


ive gotten the quest done to get my first 50cal but it didnt last long. I got stuck (like about all 2 minutes) on some tiny stone on the floor and couldnt move anymore.

So I went back to get it and guess what

10 meter in front of the extraction point my character decided to get romantically envolved with a steel beam on the floor that was IMPOSSIBLE to walk over, was at least like 20cm tall.



So now its gone, the sniper that had it is gone and wont respawn.
Only way I heard is to get it from 1 shot sniper with giant lasers.


But where they often spawn?
What map/ spot they usally hang out?

Is it a instant drop or do I have to kill 399 to have a chance for 1?

from what i see you abused the out of map and lost a gun, would you like for me to give you another one? because from the looks of things you lost a gun that you wanted to be focus'd entirely on and that's killing the mojo for you to play the game.

i'm offering you another ntw or whatever you lost, but my real question is what are you asking in general, are you asking where to farm the ntw because it's a quest item but you can pick up and repair them from sniper teams but some sniper teams have svds.

What do you mean out of the map?
Ive gotten stuck on a metal beam at a rock in front of the elevator at scrapyard. Dude just didnt want to move anymore. Wasnt the first and probaly aint the last time.


But sure if you got a spare one laying around Id be thankful.

i'm pretty sure they can aggro without warning across the map and when you see them it marks there last known location, for 1 of my boss quests it gave me a general area to look in and i looked around and found the enemy i needed to kill.

Ye since that gun is gone my question would be to farm snipers effectively.
Ive already spend 2 hours joining and leaving scorched map to wait for a mech to die for pilot quest.

I remember seeing a few in scorched in the middle but they just one shot me so I rather dont wanne risk more equiment for random RNG. Rather would know a map they occur often.

So, just to clarify, was this not the NTW-20 sniper rifle that fires .50 rounds? Because I've found those dropped from Europan sniper team members (besides the spotter with them.) semi-regularly. Finding one that's not fully destroyed may take a while, but I've seen a lot of such teams on Scorched Enclave. Until they fix it, the 'bring destroyed weapon into mission to convert to disabled' might let you get several relatively easily.

Because if it's some other rifle, I need to get my hands on one to try.

Whats the point of the 50 cal sniper?

it doesnt have a silencer yet, so its useless.

you just use it and aggro the whole map sadly

might as well use the automatic grenade launcher you can buy from vendor
