Help me optimize

Has anyone figured out how to help this game run better, I cant run around the innards without it just running like sludge. However when i get into a map, i runs fairly well except at really big battles or in specific areas, like in scrapyard nexus where lit up hallway. I can run 40k darktide, i feel like i should be able to run this, that game has more going on than this imo. Please help me out, i play and have HUGE amounts of fun, to then get to a laggy area miss shots and probably die. I can grind water all day, water isnt a problem, the game running smoothly is the problem. I am so happily frustrated, i do not know what else to do.
I tried the Rusty guide to turn off ray tracing, not sure it helped but didnt hurt either.

I usually turn off the dumb unneeded things like motion blur, lens flare, god rays, chromatic aberration, etc. Every items that makes it "look better", gets axed. After that it still looks really good. I had a few problems with stuttering in a match when lots of units would spawn in, so i moved the game to an SSD. I have had no more problems so far. I got a cheap one fro like $100 and it works good. Its the WD black sn850x hs 1000gb.

Are you on a nvidia or amd card? If amd I'd give super resolution a try
