NTW-20

Ive had the NTW-20 .50 cal sniper rifle for a while but I honestly dont remember where I got it, maybe it was a rare gun on a vendor? I dont remember picking it up out on a map or anything so it had to be a vendor or maybe quest reward. Anyone know where this gun comes from?

Also if you level it up can you ever put a silencer on it?

You can get them as a reward for one of the Europa quests that has you killing Eurasians, IIRC it's "Cull the Herd."

you can find destroyed ones on corpses, and take them into a mission and extract them again to get them in working order

It seemed to me i get more heavy guns if i use the Bagman for that single purpose. With other players i get the other guns more often.

because in my mind the bagman is a heavy gunner so he would get heavy guns then right more often than other characters?

This sniper rifle is complete crap. 800 damage, but you still have to shoot in the head and there is no silencer. It is much easier to take a grenade launcher with you and kill everyone with 1 hit to the center of the body.

I see your point.
The NTW-20 IS a beast of a weapon, but I was never able to get a silencer on it. Before this last update that has caused many to not be able to run the game, I did play around with the 90k grenade launcher you can get right off the merchant. It was fun, pretty much blasting everything into the ground haha.
