The Forever Winter

Healing definitely needs to change lol.
After getting into a fight with 2 drones+4 cyborgs at the same time. Popping one advanced medkit was enough to heal me through the entirety WHILE fighting them, not even running away. Make this game like other extraction games where healing requires an animation/standing still, thus removing those "Rambo moments." I can see a stim or something giving us a brief health regen with a heavy draw back, but that was just a moment that should of been scary, but was more hilarious in the long run.

I actually second that, it would be a positive change for the game's vibe.

Would create a lot of tension to have to escape (Taking advantage of your rig's ability to stop gunshot damage sometimes.) and find a spot to heal before bleeding out. As it stands right now, the healing makes us "The guy."

I don't want things like realistic injuries to be added (broken legs and what not)

But I do agree that medkits should actually require you to stand still and have an application animation so you can't just spam them in combat...

Or healing may be a blocking animation (cancellable though and just for the medipacks) to balance ?

Well it would make sense that you could get a bleedout, but yeah, broken legs etc never made any sense to me in games. They don't heal magically, but you can stop bleeding (albeit temporarily.) until proper medical attention is applied.

They could put some sort of animation like bandaging self or opening the first aid kit, jabbing self with something. Which makes self injectors a thing. Like, a super costly way to heal that acts like what we currently have (you click and it heals, no animation).
