Love the game, but some guns seem useless (small rant)

HI, i LOVE this game, i have a grand time and have every upgrade in the inners and such..... but, the RPK (a gun you can buy as soon as you unlock the gun merchant) seems to be the best gun overall when you count damage, the Scar .50 cal do less than an RPK with a diffrent gastube, atm the scar does not seem worth it to use, same with most other rifles when the RPK can do it better, cheaper and faster, granted the Scav girl cant use the RPK; but pretty much every other character can....

I love the game, but the majority of the guns just dont feel worth it as most of them have around the same amount of damage, i do suggest making the ones with bigger caliber that are harder hitting, do more damage, like the 50 BMG sniper. 1 shot (800 dmg) does the same amount of damage as 4 RPK shots or 4 from the scar, yet the RPK holds more bullets, fire faster, and got more attachment options. most other guns are lacking in diffrent ways, and most of them are more exspensive and have more exspensive ammo than the RPK.

For me I feel like what the stats show and how the gun actually performs (when it comes down to fire-rate, accuracy, ability to control) is different. I've used many many guns in the game now (and kitted them out) and a lot of guns perform well (rpk is my main, lol what I'm comparing them to). I feel like I can drop a hunter killer around about just as fast with an M4 as with the RPK.

I really like that .308 rifle as well (forgot the name), it kitted out some can perform really well even taking out a lot of enemies with single head-shots

Yea, but its still more cost efficent to use the RPK, as it holds more ammo and the ammo is cheaper

You can change that with Weapon Mods (bigger magazines) on almost all weapons.

Yes, you can, But, none of them have as big a magazine as the 95 bullet drum mag for the RPK, aside from LMGs

Theres a 100 Round mag for the AK if you find it on dead EOD Troopers carrying AK´s.

Also an M4 with a 60 Rounder also does a good job.

An Scar with a 50 Rounder also kills pretty quick every few shots,even heavily armored Soldiers.

Yes, the biggest magazine seems to win because for now, all weapons (almost) have the same amount of damage.

AK attachments fits on the RPK too, meaning the RPK would have an even bigger mag with this

i know,its just titled as is and has no Icon yet.Still i prefer everything else over the RPK. Thats just my personal taste.If i want anything big dead i just take a Grenade Launcher.Everything else doesnt matter since its dead after a Headshot anyway.

Its early access and they pumped out 3 hotfixes already in one Week.Theres no doubt there will be a gun rebalance and probably even more guns/attachements.

Yea, i do look forward to a gun rebalance, i hope they buff the other guns to be worth it and usefull instead of nerfing the now okay-ish ones into the ground

I thinks its a question of time when we will see an armor system in game not only high hp on enemys. And new guns ofcourse. There must be some new guns for Eurasian and Euruska then. We got Scar 50 so we might have some sort 12.7 MG and AR. Vyhlop is total trash right now.

I do love the Scar, but I feel like highly modded M4A1 and RPKs basically match the Scar's efficiency.

In practice it should have a stronger performance then either of those other guns and I don't see it, having used all three pretty extensively.

I still use the Scar pretty often when I am playing bagman because I just like the feel of it

Yep, using RPK as main and SVD as secondary. If needed im taking NTW20 or 36mm anti tank, but thats only on hard assasinations. Weapons will be adjusted in the future. So im trying to level up as many as i can before debuffs and nerfs. Who knows which weapon actually become Meta. I really hope devs wont nerf every gun into oblivion like in Helldivers. Ugh.
