Kill the Mech Pilot quest.

I just picked up this quest to kill a specific guy in elephant mausoleum. I believe it said he was a mech pilot. My question is how will I find him?

Do I just need to destroy any random mech?

no its a pilot but he is not in a mech if you spawn ruins his to your right by a broken down walls but sometimes cyborgs spawn with him and kill him

Nope, you have to get the killshot on any assassination missions.

What about the quest where you have to save the mech pilot. Where/how do you complete that one?

For that one, you have to be around when a exo suit unit gets blown up, then run and loot it, the pilot will be an item you can pickup.

You can either blow the exo suit up yourself with heavy weapons, or stalk it till the enemies kill it.

What about the quest where you have to save the mech pilot. Where/how do you complete that one?

Find a Europa exo suit walking around. Hit it with 40mm grenades, ntw sniper, or around 500+ rifle rounds. Then it will explode. It may or may not drop a pilot to pick up as a large item slot. The pilot dropping is RNG. The red baron and medium mechs also have a pilot drop chance.

Ok so are these spawns for both quests random and not guaranteed?

Because I checked the spot for the first quest in EM but there was no one and going right led me to a minefield.

I just cant do this quest. I shot around 3 pilots on different on EM runs didnt count any all

Is there a way to track the mech pilot? I see the option to track quests in the HUD on my top right, but I can't see any key bindings or options to do that in the options menu
