There's another patch update... no, not the one that came out hours ago.
It came out 5 minutes ago.
What's it this time.
At least they fixed the UI bug on factions on the last one. what's new one?

Not many EA's do patches this big this often. Take it from someone who looks to early access first for new games for the last few years, this is unusual.

In data, perhaps not. In time spent applying it, yes, very big. People are reporting 2-6 Hours just applying these patches.

Two hours? Tell them to delete some crap off their M2 so it doesn't unpack and patch on a slower drive. That or get better dial-up because a few hundred MB ain't much today.

I have the lowest of low internet speeds. It took 2-3 minutes. The one earlier today that was the bigger patch. 10 minutes...maybe.

If people have a terrible pc. Thats not the devs fault. Or their problem for that fact.

The devs should be allowed to patch their game whenever they can to fix issues or add/remove things in their game. And we shouldnt be discouraging them from doing so.

How lucky for you to enjoy the benefits of 'it didn't happen to me'.

This 250Mb patch literally rewrites 80Gb of game data several times. I'm watching this process right now. First it read 80Gb from game directory on 1st disk and wrote 80Gb on my 2nd disk where another steam library located, now it reads from there and writes 80gb back to game directory. Considering that 2nd disk is slow 8tb HDD this process takes time.

Again, it doesnt matter if it didnt happen to me. If others are having issues, thats not the devs fault, or problem.

I've let my PC download an update for the entire afternoon, when I finally want to play after it's done downloading. ANOTHER UPDATE, any patchnotes anywhere, no words from the devs at all?
