Disabled weapons
I've taken a few broken guns back into a map, saw that it was in fact labelled as disabled on the next run, got out safety but I can't find them in any of the tabs? What am I missing, I know I gotta bring it back through another run to be able to use it, but I can't find them.

You arent, they are positored into your weapons inventory. Just check the count of weapons. For example there is a small number in right bottom corner of every weapon, which shows how many weapons you have 2x, 3x etc. Weapons stack in your inventory. So you havent lost anything, doing this myself, so dont worry.

Interesting, because I don't have any scars or that lmg in my weapon inventory, even though I did take the broken versions into a raid and made it out alive. That's the part that I find confusing.
But thank you for telling me about weapon stacking though, I didn't know that.

Oh, I thought I was doing something wrong. It's still not giving me the guns after extracting with them labelled as disabled. So I've given up on it, once you unlock tier 3 in both traders it's less of a issue, still annoying though.

If I pick up damaged weapons from enemies on the battlefield, they usually end up as large items on the vendor menu. Only on a kinda low chance, they show up repaired as weapon.

Taking a broken weapon back into a zone causes it to become disabled. Then extracting with a disabled weapon turns it into a working one. The system is kind of odd. But that is how it works currently.

Honestly, I feel like broken weapons are not *intended* to work this way and it will almost certainly be changed in a future update.

This is the issue, I've taken broken guns in, seen that they've been labelled as disabled, extracted and still no guns. I've tried with having zero normal scars in my home base inventory and still nothing.

I agree, it does seem like a weird bug. But other than quest only guns, it doesn't really matter as the vendors restock pretty quickly and once you know how to farm, money is a non issue too.

works for all my friends and myself. so dunno on your part.

ive been doing this over and over and now have a 10 stack of GRL. its wonky as sometimes it works sometimes the weapon just disappears.
when you first look at / pick up a weapon on the ground it could be either disabled or destroyed. Destroyed when exiting to innards is upgraded to disabled. one more time through the map itll be useable and goes into your stacks of weapons. the caveat is everyone once in a while when moving them from your bags to your innards stockpiles some will just vanish. its unsure that any of this behaviour at this point is intentional.

ive seen many say you cant move them from your bag to your stockpile or itll make it not work but i literally dump everything to stash and then re-place them in my bag and it works every time so your mileage may vary. ive even left some of them in my stash only took 4 in (heavy equipment gunrunner so 6 guns) gone in , got out , and took 2 back in with me the next run. so shrug.
The broken weapons (not disabled yet) are in your Large/Junk tab, NOT the weapons tab. If you put a disabled weapon into your stash it will vanish forever.
