Update issues...

Both the updates have had issues with installation for me. After it finishes downloading the update, the installation process stops.
The only way I'm able to update the game is by uninstalling it and redownloading the entire game.
Anyone else having this happen?

To delete the game after any update and download it again, isn't this complication laid down by the developer in this game? In my opinion, the game implies complete hardcore. (Удалить игру после любой обновы и скачать заново, разве это усложнение не заложена разработчиком в эту игру? По моему игра подразумевает, полный хардкор.)

Elephant Mausoleum is bugged aswell.. you freeze up after 50 yards.

Would be nice to not murder my SSD's lifespan to be able to play the game

Different issue, the installation process fails so you can't even get to the point of running the game like you can

Annnnnnd it's happening again, on this update....

[Fart Cry: Primal]

I just re-downloaded, got all the way and then stops at 80gb done. Try to restart and it says "error: missing downloaded files". I can see them in the folder steam uses but they are not being accessed/applied. Cleared cache and now it must download the whole game all over again. This all started from whatever update came out today (1/10/24). I could have downloaded, installed and been playing another game by now. This has never happened with any other release on steam. Something in the new update or game files is bugged to SH**.

Your AV or similar app is blocking files or you do not actually have enough space on disk (the game is 83.5GB in size, total).

Nope, got 300GB free space on my SSD, my AV is set up not to interfere with my steam folders at all, no flags and no records of interference. Everything is pointing to problems in the update files.

No, you just have to have 83GB of free space on your SSD. But i guess bashing is easier than figuring this out ...

No other game demands the total weight of the game for a 1GB update. This is the third time i'm gonna have to reinstall the game because of this

Is it my fault ? No. This is the only game that does this.
Updates need to be fixed and i hope the devs have this on their list because this is stupid.

Yeeeez, man if you can't make 83gb of space because you want to play an EA game that's unfinished why even bother. First world problems. We live in 2024, everything is SSD now. If you can run this game properly (=meet the minimum specs) you should have a proper SSD that has enough space. Some games are 120gb. People are so damn privileged nowadays. It will be fixed in the future anyway.

had the same issue.. twice. now installing patch 3. pray for me bros. i dont wanna redownload the game again :(
