What you stand to lose in a rig is the "high quality" containers that double carry weight, and the bullet resistant large item bays.
You will NEVER lose a base level rig once purchased.
So aside the starter, and the gunrunner rig, any you buy are permanent too?
I'm guessing containers and the like are what you attach/customize the rig with then?
I noticed the rigs that you do buy, have different layouts for that reason then, so you have the room to carry in the rig, but you can attach more modules to side slots, for purpose needed?
2. The container customization is what is lost on death
Basically there are 3 kinds of slots per rig...
Large item slots -only large items can be placed here
These can be upgraded to provide some form of bullet resistance (when shot at from the back)
Standard Inventory Slots - everything that isn't a gun or a large item go here
These can be upgraded to double carry capacity
Gun slots - only guns can go here
Can't be upgraded right now, eventually I suspect they will be able to
The rig vendor requires a water level of 16. He appears when you reach that amount and he disappears when you go below that amount. Just get to 16 water days in inventory again and he’ll reappear.
