Has anyone found the control panel in scrapyard nexus to get the secret locked box? I searched everywhere but can't find it.
Is there a bigger area or really just this narrow path until you reach the mech?

Found it, it is next to the mech on the right side.
Couldn't see anything but I got a prompt to pull a lever.
There is a destroyed generator? right next to it.

You mean a bunker with a code lock? It is near the cliffs entrance, there is a small raised ramp in the trench between two raised "streets", the door is on the opposite side of it from the cliff entry area, if I remember correctly.

I cannot for the life of me find anything for the control panel on the scrapyard nexus. Scoured the area around the mech many many times. Any specific details about it because I've died so many times jerking around there.

EDIT: I found it, didn't realize I discarded the quest. fml.

I discarded the quest an hour ago because I couldn't find the spot in scorched, if you are more lucky feel free to post it here.

I don't mean the locked door, that thing is pretty obvious, but there seems to be a hidden locked box for the quest somewhere.

Discarded as well for now, the reward doesn't seem to be worth the effort unless it unlocks different quests. I barely read the text between LMG bursts that apparently my map or HUD would tell me something about the box? Couldn't find it or any hint to it. Maybe I'll redo the mission to get a better read on the text. The mission implies something has changed in the map by you activating the panel but I don't know what that means (or if it it's working). Scrapyard seems to be a Eurasia faction zone, and in the wastes Eurasia gives you an entry point at the bunkers right by the burning effigy, so that's probably where I'll look.

Still searching scorched. It wasn't in the locked bunker. Doesn't seem to be around the permiter. Maybe it's the gocha box? Will keep testing and update.

I have gone into that bunker repeatedly and scoured the map for nearly 6 hours now and I have yet to find the secret lockbox.

I combed through the map for a couple hours, even started using the Cyborg x-ray vision tool for a bit. Still didn't come across this supposed "Secret lockbox". If you are looking for it I'd recommend using the x-ray tool

I'm also curious as to where the secret box is. Devs seem to really want to run the player about by giving zero hints.

I've abandoned the quest in the meantime, because if no one has found it yet then it has to be borked.

If this many people are having trouble with hours of searching then there's definitely an issue. Either the box doesn't spawn, or it does but it's way too obscure. Just another thing to add to the list for the devs to look at.
