Can't turn in quest.

I have quests called, "Staunch the Bleeding" which wants me to get 4 advanced first aid kits. I have them, but it wont let me turn in the quest. Do I have to turn it in somewhere specific or is it just bugged?

I'm also having this issue. I'm wondering if I have to extract with all four at once.

if you buy them you need to go in a mission and drop them for them to be valid, you can't just buy and turn them in you need to work for it. go into a mission, drop and pick them up. the elevator mission is great for it aswell just don't acidently use them

go in mission, drop them, pick them up, extract. you need to atleast "earn" them.

I got them before I got to trusted with the scavengers. I also got 4 before getting the quest and it wouldn't let me turn it in. So I got 4 more after getting it and it still won't let me. Had a similar issue with the one getting explosives, but I had to get rid of it, grab it again, and collect 2 more explosives for it to work.

you can pre collect items, however you need to go into a mission and then drop and repick them up to extract with the mission complete. i think it's bugged rn

This needs to be changed ASAP cause you earned them cause you had to go to a region to get them in the first place. I have seen several games with collect missions that you can do this on. It seems a little nuts to change an accepted game mechanic.

You have to pick them up in a run for it to count.

bring them into a mission and then drop and repickup works for map specific parts too

you need to earn them. the treches you can spawn elevator drop pickup and extract super fast no risk

I'm having the same problem with a quest for 2 explosives. Both of which I got from doing missions. I have them in my stash now but the quest will not let me complete it.

did you grab the explosives after you grabbed the quest? if so go into a mission drop the explosives and repick them up.

You have to "collect" the items after the mission has been accepted. This means you can't pre-stock most items as you have to accept a quest, go into a raid, pick up the correct item and then extract.
Like Ghost says, you can do this with medkits/explosives since you're allowed to deploy with those items. Other misc items like precision components or drone parts can't be removed from your stash, so you may as well sell them as you'll have to earn them in-raid again to complete relevant quests.

I've tried every way of doing it. It just won't progress for me. I've even looted brand new ones, even found a good route for Elephant Mausoleum that can get me a good 6 or so a go. How many did the quest say I got? 1... idk why I'm having such a hard time completing it, but it refuses to work for me.

It may be bugged then. I had the same issue after the update but I was able to complete it after abandoning and accepting it again later.

the collection side ops I have found fiction like the collection missions form tarkov in some cases, items seem to have a hidden value of 'Found in Raid' which is triggered after you collect the quest. IE need to accept the quest to get the "FIR' tag on the item to turn it in, like wise if you sell the item in question before turning in the quest you will need to collect another one to be able too.
