i saw on a different thread here, you are able to delete your save file. i’m not exactly sure where it’s located. i would def check your local files, i would look into it more but im at work rn D:

Found my saves in

C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\ForeverWinter\Saved\SaveGames

delete the folder mentioned above - & temporarily disable the cloud save in Steam for Forever Winter (& after opening / closing the game once - re-enable cloud saves)

Curious as to why you would want to restart your progress. I can't for the life of me think of any progress that you would want to wipe. You can't really dig a hole for yourself in this game...everything is linear and only goes up. Even if you lose everything, say if you run out of water...you still have whatever XP/prestige you accumulated, but no inventory.

For feedback and testing reasons. Things have shifted, how does that change the 'fresh start' experience? We can't go back to being a new player, but we can go back to having nothing that way.

For what it's worth, I want 2 save slots for this very reason. One for keeping and one to go in fresh without having to fiddle with files.:raven:
