The AI seems stoopid ?
I have watched some guy play and the AI really seemed bottom level stupid and blind, what do you guys think ?

AI definitely needs some fine tuning, but it's nothing they cannot fix i am sure over time :D

They don't actively target the player, it's like the last thing on their things to do unless you're running passed them. They target everything else however and I've only ever seen their pathfinding break one time. Stupid? No, need a little better coding? Yeah, Definitely.

I don't know, my experience has been that they always go toward me and always find me, shooting me when I wouldn't think they'd even see me.

Blind? Definitely not. They often aware of the scav but don’t generally engage with scavs unless they are too close, no other threats in the immediate area, or the scav is engaging them. And oh god when you are the only or priority threat around do they absolutely hunt you down.

Stupid? Well it is often I see common infantry attempt to shoot down Medium Mechs and sometimes even charge at them with predictable results, but they are disposable for a reason I suppose.

Its rough for sure but when they nail it down there will be no game like it. It's still fun being all wonky imo. They will get u.

I feel like the AI in this game is playing "Company of Heroes"/"Dawn of War" and we just happen to be a dude collecting upgrades and raw material off the corpses of their units. Sure the enemy units start tweaking out on funky terrain or as they change objectives but that's just what RTS unit pathing is usually like. Sure the enemy doesn't see us when we turn a corner but that's because it's attack + move command got broken and now the AI has to re-command it to attack us if it even wants to. Often time the AI seems to find more important targets too so they might run right past me.

I am the kind of person that loves this sort of thing even though it is really jank. It doesn't feel up to the standards of a normal shooter but as a person who loved certain Warcraft III Custom Mode Stealth Based Mods I am loving this.

Well the AI is stupid that is for sure, and the dev's tried to fix that by spawning them directly on top of the player

Yeah that corner movement is exactly what I was referring about.

I also just saw how they fail to reset aggro when you get up a point they cannot reach you, feels awful.
