Try it out. Compare the walk/crouch speed in base vs bag man. He's almost twice as fast. The other characters offer a better balance of walk vs run (the others are faster but not as much), but she's so damn slow to maneuver in general. Hopefully there's some secret walking boost with levels that I don't have or something, I don't see how people can put up with her.
I suspect it's not intentional, might be tied to model sizes. People have screwed that up before, wouldn't surprise me.
...New rigs are permanent unlocks that don't have to be replaced when you get killed, right? The insanely cranked-up prices compared to everything else would make sense that way.
Yeah, I can second this. The rack rig opens up the largest gains for money and he is the only one who can use it naturally. His carry capacity in combination with the high quality center container for the rack gives massive storage space. Its plenty for ammo, meds, and small loot items you get while picking up large containers. I get 200k Credits every run on Scorched Enclave easily. His health makes dealing with patrols trivial, his gun skills make him lethal to everything, and honestly if you want to have the safest walk in the wasteland, sacrifice one large slot for the tactical camera. It shows all the lootboxes and enemies making navigating around easy and youll never be caught by surprise.
that said different playstyles will fit different folks better.
